How does it work?

Click into the map and enjoy...

Here the fine print:

The form around the map is used to adjust parameters influencing content and
style of your calculated map. Above you are informed about actual zoom and
center of the projection.

You decide, if you like to get _color_ output, if the sailing _turn_
Berlin-Sydney2000 should be included and if some basic grid should
_deco_rate the image.

On the left you choose a factor, the actual zoom should be multiplied with:
x2 -> zoom into the map, /2 -> zoom out. Factor x1 does not change the zoom
for the next map. Thats useful for scrolling through the map.

On the right you have the choice of different map projections.

There are two buttons:
_recompute_ works as if you would click into the center of your map. Select
zoom factor x1 and you can play around with different settings. Zoom factor
x2 or /2 and you zoom in/out with your actual settings.

_world_ is your reset button. If you get lost, _world_ will set zoom=1
and the center to longitude=0, latitude=0. All other selections are not
influenced.

The bottom row allows you to define the geographical content of the map. By
choosing _color_ output, different items will be displayed in different colors.

By clicking into the image the map will be recalculated with the center
moved to the place you pointed at.
